Located in the south-eastern part of Queensland, Bundaberg is a busy city. It is located around 385 km on the northern side of Brisbane. The city is now famous as one of the biggest sugarcane growing regions. It is also renowned for exporting the highly demanded Bundaberg Ginger Beer and Bundaberg Rum. In the present times, Bundaberg is a growing tourist hot-spot as travellers from around the globe come to the city to spend their holidays. The city is also the seat of the Bundaberg regional council. As per the June 2018 census, the city's population was recorded as 70,921.

History of Bundaberg James Davis is known to be the 1st non-indigenous man who visited the area in the 1830s. He is known to have stayed near the area close to Mary River, which is also known as Durrumboi. The early settlers are known to exploit timber. They grew maize as well as they resided in the area. However, in due time sugarcane became one of the biggest components of the city's development from the 1870s. Over the years, a lot of development took place and now Bundaberg is a busy business city.

There are many other local attractions in the form of environmental parks, zoos, museums, shows and tours around the region.

How is Bundaberg Connected? The Airport has flights to Lady Elliot Island and Brisbane. Duffy's City Buses transport more than 1000 passengers across the town. The routes extend to the many beach suburbs as well.
