Known as Rubibi, Broome is a beautiful coastal town located in the Kimberley region. It is situated around 1,681 km on the northern side of Perth. The city has a population of 14,445, which often grows to more than 45,000 during the peak tourist season, from June to August. This town is also known for its pearling industry.

The industry started way back in the 1880s with harvesting oysters for mother of pearl. Today, it is the most famous region for cultured pearl farming.
