Dr Yiu Ming Ho

Dr Ming Ho is a highly trained surgeon with expertise in coloproctology and GI endoscopy. After completing his general surgical training in Newcastle, Dr Ho obtained his FRACS fellowship from the College of Surgeons in Australia. Dr Ho also received further training in coloproctology in the UK in 2017 and obtained memberships in the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) and a fellowship in the College of Surgeons (FRCSEd). Dr Ho is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the Joint Advisory Group on gastrointestinal endoscopy of the UK (JAG) to perform colonoscopy and gastroscopy. He is committed to providing patients with the newest technologies and offers THD® Anopress, which can manage anorectal problems, e.g. rectocele, faecal incontinent, chronic constipation, anismus, obstructed defecation, rectal prolapse, obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS). Patients can access this service through Medicare bulk billing.

Dr Ho is experienced in various surgeries such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel resection, hernia repair, breast surgeries, haemorrhoids and skin surgeries. Currently, he is a staff surgeon at Princess Charles Hospital and also works privately at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
