Dr Xavier Mulenga

Dr Xavier Mulenga is a highly qualified medical doctor who graduated from the University of Wollongong and completed specialised training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He holds dual qualifications as a General Adult and Addiction Psychiatrist and has extensive experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric and mental health disorders.

Dr Mulenga currently works as a Staff Specialist Addiction Psychiatrist at Royal North Shore Hospital, where he provides comprehensive psychiatric care to patients with addiction-related conditions. In addition, he serves as a VMO Adult Psychiatrist in the Southern NSW LHD, offering telehealth services to patients in the region.

Patients primarily see Dr Mulenga on an outpatient basis, but he is also available to provide inpatient admissions through Ramsay Clinic Northside in St Leonards. With a compassionate and patient-centered approach, he collaborates with individuals to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. His main goal is to help patients achieve long-term mental wellness and live fulfilling lives, free from the limitations of psychiatric conditions.
