Dr Wee-Kheng Soo

Dr Wee-Kheng Soo is a medical oncologist and geriatrician who aims to improve health outcomes with an evidence-based approach. Dr Soo has a keen interest in comprehensive geriatric assessment, falls and frailty, cancer supportive care and lymphoedema. He is passionate about delivering patient-centered care that integrates their health needs and goals with their values. Dr Soo firmly believes that working in collaboration with patients, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals can achieve better health outcomes. As a clinician-researcher, Dr Soo is a PhD candidate at Eastern Health Clinical School, Monash University. He has completed his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2003 which was followed by dual fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012. He has further obtained a clinical diploma in palliative medicine in 2012 and a diploma in geriatric oncology in 2019. Dr Soo’s interest in geriatric care, falls, frailty, and cancer supportive care is reflected in his clinical practice. He continually endeavors to incorporate research discoveries into his clinical practice to provide the best possible care to his patients. Overall, Dr Soo’s priority is improving the health outcomes of his patients and delivering quality healthcare with an evidence-based approach.
