A/Prof Michael Woodward

Dr. Woodward is a passionate medical practitioner with expertise in a variety of fields including rehabilitation, dementia and cognitive disorders, geriatric medicine, wound management, sleep, and quality use of medications. He currently holds the position of Director of Aged Care at a metropolitan public acute hospital in Melbourne.

Dr. Woodward’s contributions to the medical field go beyond his clinical practice. He is also actively involved in spreading awareness and promoting research in his areas of interest. He is the President of the Australian Wound Management Association and Editor of Wound Practice and Research, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and research in wound management. He also serves as an editor in the Journal of Pharmacy Practice and Research, focusing on Geriatric Therapeutics.
