Dr Vijaya Chitreddy

Dr. Vijaya Chitreddy is a highly accomplished Dermatologist with a wealth of experience in the field. She is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, having obtained her fellowship in 2013. Dr. Chitreddy earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Gulbarga University in India in 1995.

Dr. Chitreddy has more than ten years of experience as a Dermatologist and has worked in various tertiary care hospitals in Australia, as well as in prestigious institutions across India. She has practiced at renowned medical centers such as Victoria General Hospital, Lady Curzon and Bowring Hospital in Bangalore, and Government General Hospital in Chennai.

Her expertise lies in managing a wide range of adult common skin disorders, including Acne, Rosacea, Eczema, skin cancers, and skin infections. Dr. Chitreddy has a special interest in hair and scalp disorders, as well as paediatric skin disorders such as Eczema, Acne, and Hair Loss.

During her training in India, Dr. Chitreddy actively participated in Acne research, researched the Prozone phenomena in syphilis serology, and taught medical students. She has also served as an editor for the chapter on structural hair abnormalities in the textbook "Hair and Scalp disorders" authored by Amy J. McMichael and Maria K. Hordinsky.
