Dr Usama Majeed is a General Surgeon based in Canberra. He has extensive training and experience in various surgical procedures, with special interests in breast, colorectal, endocrine, and upper gastrointestinal / hepatopancreatobiliary surgeries.
Dr Majeed obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree from King Edward Medical College Lahore, Pakistan, in 1993. He later pursued a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australia, in 2009. Additionally, he holds an AMC Certificate from the Australian Medical Council, acquired in 2004.
With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dr Majeed has acquired a diverse set of skills and expertise. His clinical practice includes performing colonoscopies and gastroscopies, providing diagnosis and treatment for various gastrointestinal conditions.
Dr Majeed is fluent in English, French, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, allowing him to effectively communicate and provide care to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
