Dr Toni Hampe is a German-born and fully Australian-trained specialist in gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and internal medicine. He obtained his initial medical degree from Heidelberg University, the oldest tertiary institution in Germany. He then worked at the gastroenterology department of Heidelberg University Hospital, one of Europe's largest medical centres, gaining valuable experience in the field.

Dr Hampe furthered his specialist training at renowned hospitals in Australia, including Brisbane's Prince Charles and Princess Alexandra hospitals, Canberra Hospital, and Sydney's St George Hospital. His dedication to continuous learning and professional growth allowed him to acquire expertise in various aspects of gastroenterology.

Driven by a desire for a lifestyle change, Dr Hampe made the decision to settle in the Fraser Coast and established Hervey Bay Specialists on Main St, Pialba. He also provides consultations at St Stephen's Medical Centre in Maryborough on a weekly basis.
