Dr Tam Nguyen is an experienced Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon who is dedicated to providing the best care to his patients. After completing his training in Brisbane and Sydney, Tam settled in the Illawarra region in 2015 with his family. He is currently practicing in Wollongong and Shoalhaven, with his private rooms at the Vascular Care Centre located on Crown Street. Tam has worked in various major vascular and trauma centres across the country and internationally. His extensive experience has led him to hold a Clinical Superintendent position in one of Australia's leading teaching hospitals, Liverpool Hospital. As technology advances, Tam believes that keeping up to date with the latest treatment options is vital to providing the best care possible to his patients. Recently, he travelled to the US to receive special training in endoluminal atherectomy, a cutting-edge treatment he has a keen interest in using.
