Dr Suvi Hyytinen

Dr Suvi Hyytinen is a well qualified and experienced Gynaecologist practicing in Everton Park, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She is a female physician affiliated with North West Private Hospital. Dr Hyytinen obtained her MBBS Bsc degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney in 2002.

Following her undergraduate medical studies, Dr Hyytinen completed rigorous surgical and obstetric and gynaecological residencies at esteemed institutions including the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children's Hospital, and the Royal Women's Hospital in Randwick. In 2014, she achieved fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) after completing comprehensive training at various locations in Queensland.

During her career, Dr Hyytinen has gained extensive experience in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and has developed a special interest in this field. Her commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements has led her to pursue additional training in Robotics. As a result, she has become an expert in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Fertility medicine, including IVF.

Dr Hyytinen's dedication to providing comprehensive and holistic care is evident in her involvement with remote indigenous communities in the Cape of York. While working as a Staff Specialist at the Cairns Hospital, she also pursued a Master's degree in Reproductive Medicine at UNSW, where she graduated with an award of excellence in 2016.

As a strong advocate for patient-centered care, Dr Hyytinen is passionate about improving the quality of healthcare delivery in her community. In line with this commitment, she does not charge any out-of-pocket fees for her obstetric services. Dr Hyytinen's compassionate approach extends beyond her professional interests. She cherishes her role as a proud mother of three children and enjoys the simple pleasures of life, such as a good cup of coffee.
