Dr Stephen Lyons

With a passion for science and medicine, I obtained a science degree, majoring in biochemistry, from the University of Melbourne before pursuing a PhD at the University of Sydney. Following this, I completed my medical degree at the University of Sydney, where I then underwent advanced training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Royal North Shore Hospital. During my training, I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through a secondment in the United Kingdom at Odstock Hospital, Salisbury.

After completing my training, I became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), and further pursued two years of advanced training in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery at Sydney’s Royal Hospital for Women. I am currently a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) in advanced gynaecological endoscopic surgery and deliver babies at the Northern Beaches Hospital.

I am equally passionate about both obstetrics and gynaecology and focus on both in my practice. I am committed to providing the best possible care to my patients and will continue to keep up to date with the latest advancements in the field to ensure that my patients receive the most advanced and effective treatments.
