A/Prof Shankar Siva

A/Prof Shankar Siva is a highly esteemed radiation oncologist specialising in the treatment of genitourinary cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and stereotactic radiation therapy. He is currently based in East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

With an impressive academic background, A/Prof Siva holds a PhD in Molecular Radiation Biology from the renowned Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. His research work focused on translational investigations in precision high-dose lung radiation therapy. He is recognized internationally as a leader in high-technology radiation therapy delivery, particularly in the field of stereotactic ablative body radiation therapy (SABR).

A/Prof Siva's contributions to the field are substantiated by his extensive publication record, with over 150 peer-reviewed manuscript publications. Notably, he authored the first original research from Australia on the use of SABR.
