Dr Sarah Pixton

Dr Sarah Pixton is a dedicated and experienced Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist with a commitment to delivering high-quality Women's health care. After completing her Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney in 2008, she continued her training at Nepean Hospital, where she completed most of her training and gained extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies. She held various roles in Nepean Hospital, including Senior Registrar, O&G Registrar, and Staff Specialist, where she still works today.

Dr Pixton is passionate about making a positive impact in women's health care not only locally but also in the wider community. Thus, she is an active member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), where she serves as a board member of RANZCOG NSW Regional Committee and the Chair of the State Reference Committee. Her contributions help the organization build capacity and improve the delivery of care across Australia and New Zealand. Dr Pixton is also committed to the education and development of future obstetricians and gynaecologists by sitting on interview panels, providing valuable training, and sharing knowledge with medical students at the University of Sydney.

Dr Pixton's passion for delivering personalized and high-quality care to her patients led her to establish a private practice in 2017 at Nepean Private Hospital. She works collaboratively with A/Prof. John Pardey & Associates and brings her expertise in advanced gynecological surgery and all aspects of obstetric care, including managing high-risk pregnancies.
