Dr Maree Wallwork

Dr. Maree Wallwork is a proficient and experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from James Cook University, Townsville, Queensland in 2008. Following her studies, Dr. Wallwork began her career as an Intern at Gold Coast Hospital in Queensland.

She then continued as a Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Gold Coast Hospital until 2010 before moving to Penrith. At Nepean Hospital, she began her formal training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, gaining knowledge of general and specialised Obstetrics and Gynaecology during her tenure. Dr. Wallwork also worked at Orange Base Hospital and Westmead Hospital during her training.

In 2015, Dr. Wallwork became a Provisional Fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Perinatal Ultrasound, and Education at Nepean Hospital and the University of Sydney. She served as a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Nepean Hospital in 2016, where she was awarded the Excellence in Clinical Education, Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Nepean Clinical School, The University of Sydney.

Dr. Wallwork's extensive training and dedication to excellence led her to become a SWAPS Fellow (Sydney West Advanced Pelvic Surgery) in 2017. She also became a Provisional Fellow at Nepean Hospital, Nepean Private Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, and Sydney Adventist Hospital. In 2018, she received her Fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

She furthered her education by completing her Master of Surgery (Advanced Gynaecological Surgery) at Western Sydney University in 2019. Dr. Wallwork has been a Clinical Associate Lecturer at Sydney University since 2011, showcasing her commitment to educating the next generation of medical professionals.

Since 2018, Dr. Wallwork has established her private practice with A/Prof. John Pardey & Associates at Nepean Private Hospital. Her areas of expertise include obstetric care for high-risk pregnancies, as well as Advanced Gynaecological and Endoscopic Surgery. Dr. Wallwork's sharp skills, extensive experience, and dedication to providing excellent patient care have earned her the respect and admiration of her peers and patients.
