Dr. Sarah Garner is a highly qualified Infectious Disease Specialist and Medical Microbiologist based in Melbourne, Australia. She holds dual specialty fellowships as a physician (FRACP) and pathologist (FRCPA) and works as a general ID Physician and Medical Microbiologist in both private and public sectors.

Dr. Garner completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honours. Being experienced in the HIV sector, she carried out further research in HIV after finishing specialty training. In 2022, she completed her PhD studies at WEHI, where her research focused on the role of cell death pathways in eradicating the latent reservoir of HIV.
