Dr Ivan Stratov

Peninsula Private Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Ivan Stratov, a specialist in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Stratov will be offering on-call services at Peninsula and Beleura Private Hospitals. Dr. Stratov completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1989, after which he pursued medical missions in the Caucasus region. He completed his specialty training in Infectious Diseases in 2001 and obtained a PhD in 2005, focusing on HIV vaccine research. He has published more than 40 scientific and medical papers and has over 10 years of experience running a medical practice in the Eastern suburbs. Dr. Stratov and his team at Eastern Infectious Disease and Travel Medicine provide a comprehensive range of services that include General Infectious Diseases, Travel Medicine, Infections in returned travelers, HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Serology, TB testing & management, and Infections in Immunocompromised hosts.
