Dr Razvan Stoita

Dr. Razvan Stoita is an experienced specialist orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in hip and knee replacement surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, and trauma of the lower limb. He is board-certified and holds the title MD FRACS(Orth) FAOrthA. Dr. Stoita obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine And Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca in Romania in 1999. He then completed his Orthopaedic Training in Sydney, Australia, after which he traveled to London, United Kingdom for further subspecialty training. There, he trained with leading orthopaedic hip and knee surgeons, Mr. S. Bridle and Mr. P. Mitchell, at St George’s Hospital and The Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Epsom, Surrey. This training included complex surgery of the hip and knee, with a specific focus on hip and knee replacement surgery and knee ligament reconstruction. In addition to his training in the UK, Dr. Stoita also completed a clinical fellowship in pelvic and acetabular reconstruction. He trained with world-leading surgeons at St George’s Hospital, the largest pelvic and acetabular trauma unit in London. Dr. Stoita further enhanced his expertise by visiting the renowned Helios Endo-Klinik in Hamburg, Germany, where he received training in primary and revision joint arthroplasty and treatment of periprosthetic infections. Dr. Razvan Stoita's special interests lie in hip and knee replacement surgery, revision hip and knee replacement surgery, realignment knee surgery for young patients with arthritis, and arthroscopic knee surgery for meniscal disorders and ACL reconstruction.
