Prasad Cooray

Dr Prasad Cooray is a dedicated and compassionate general oncologist who provides exceptional patient-centred medical care. He specialises in treating gastrointestinal cancers such as colon, rectum, oesophagus, and stomach; hepato-biliary cancers including liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and bile duct cancers; genitourinary cancer like prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer; as well as lung cancers.

Having completed his MBBS (Hons) from Monash University in 1996, Dr Cooray has gained extensive experience and knowledge through his advanced training at Melbourne's Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Austin and Alfred Hospitals. He actively participates in cancer clinical trials as a co-investigator and attends weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring that his patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care across multiple medical disciplines.
