Dr Poshitha De Silva

Dr Poshitha De Silva, an Australian trained Pain Management Specialist, holds dual qualifications in Pain Medicine and General Practice. He completed his MBBS in 2005, followed by a fellowship in General Practice in 2018. Dr. De Silva then pursued specialty training in Pain Medicine at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Gold Coast Health Service, culminating in a fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2022.

With a practice based in Brisbane Private Hospital and Sunnybank Private Hospital, Dr. De Silva also contributes as a consultant in Pain Medicine at the Princess Alexandra Hospital pain clinic. His background in occupational medicine and injury management complements his clinical expertise. Dr. De Silva is a respected member of the Spinal Interventional Society, European Pain Federation, Australian Pain Society, and the International Association of the Study of Pain (IASP), and serves as a senior lecturer with the University of Queensland.
