Dr Philip Rowlands

Dr Philip Rowlands is a well-respected gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. He currently practices at Glengarry Private Hospital in Perth, Western Australia and runs his private clinic in Duncraig, situated across from the hospital.

Dr Rowlands completed his medical degree at Dundee University in Scotland and underwent extensive training in obstetrics and gynaecology in England. During his time in England, he had the privilege of working alongside renowned professors and leading surgeons for over a decade. In 2007, he immigrated to Australia and was appointed as the head of the department at Kaleeya Hospital in East Fremantle, where he served until 2014 before embarking on his private practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Rowlands has demonstrated a special interest in the complex gynaecological pelvic surgery, specifically excelling in advanced laparoscopic procedures. He has undergone training under the guidance of Prof John Yovich and gained significant experience at the PIVET Medical Centre, specialising in infertility.

Dr Rowlands holds a level 5/6 RANZCOG certification, enabling him to perform the most advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries. His exceptional surgical skills have been recognized through Fellowships of the RCOG London and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in gynaecological and pelvic surgery.
