Dr Peter Lam

Dr. Peter Lam is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in surgeries related to the Foot and Ankle. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (Hons) degree from the University of Sydney, Australia, obtained in 1989. Dr. Lam is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics) since 1997 and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association since the same year.

With extensive experience in the field, Dr. Lam is skilled in various surgical techniques and has a special interest in performing keyhole minimally invasive surgeries. His areas of expertise include the correction of bunions, forefoot deformities, arthritis of the big toe metatarsophalangeal joint, sports-related injuries of the foot and ankle, reconstructive surgery for arthritis, and tendon disorders of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Lam has been recognized for his contributions to the field of orthopaedic surgery, including receiving the 2nd Prize for Poster Presentation at the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society Annual Scientific Meeting in March 2022. He has also been published in reputable medical journals, such as Foot & Ankle International and Techniques in Foot & Ankle Surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lam is an invited speaker at national and international conferences, including the European Foot and Ankle Society Annual Congress, American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society meeting on Minimally Invasive Foot Surgery, and Canadian Orthopedic Association Annual Scientific Meeting, among others. He has also served as a faculty member at various international foot and ankle surgery courses.
