Dr Nicole Goh

Dr Nicole Goh is a highly trained and experienced Respiratory and Sleep specialist, having studied at the University of Melbourne and undertaken specialist training at several leading hospitals in Melbourne and London. She is currently working at both the Austin and Alfred Hospitals, where she provides expert management of all respiratory and sleep disorders, but with a particular interest in interstitial lung diseases. With her research focussed on improving quality of life for those with Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD), she holds the position of Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Service at the Austin Hospital.

Dr Goh is deeply committed to furthering research and teaching in her field and is actively involved in a number of national and international collaborations. She serves on the Steering Committee of the National Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Registry and has established her own research groups, including the Institute for Breathing and Sleep (IBAS) Medical and Scientific Research Committee and the Pulmonary Interstitial Vascular Organisational Taskforce (PIVOT) group.

A highly recognised and respected specialist in her field, Dr Goh also holds a PhD from the Imperial College London. Her research predominantly focuses on Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD), with an emphasis on pulmonary rehabilitation, supplementary oxygen, and improving quality of life. Collaborating with the Australian Scleroderma Interest Group (ASIG), Dr Goh is dedicated to ongoing research and developments to improve outcomes for those struggling with respiratory disorders.
