Dr Narayan Karanth is an experienced Medical Oncologist who has been delivering top-of-the-line oncology care in Darwin since 2010. He offers his extensive knowledge and skills through the NT Medical Specialist consulting suites and inpatient consultations at Royal Darwin Hospital and Darwin Private Hospital. Dr Karanth is committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate Medical Oncology care to his patients.

Dr Karanth has an excellent academic record. He is a certified physician who completed his Medical Oncology training (DM) at Tata Memorial Cancer Centre, Mumbai India from 2004 to 2007. His excellence in the field of Medical Oncology is evident from his second place worldwide ranking in the European Society of Medical Oncology certification course in 2007 (ECMO). He further expanded his training in Medical Oncology, earning his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) from Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide between 2008 and 2010.

Dr Karanth specialises in treating a range of cancers, with a special interest in breast, lung, colorectal cancer and urogenital cancers.
