Dr Mueed Mian

Dr. Mueed Mian completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and underwent training in rheumatology and general medicine at Austin Hospital, Northern Hospital, and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is dedicated to teaching and serves as the Director of Physician Education at the Central NorthWest Consortium at Northern Hospital. Dr. Mian holds public positions as a consultant rheumatologist and general physician at Northern Hospital. He has previously tutored at the University of Melbourne medical school and held an advisory role for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Dr. Mian is committed to achieving the best outcomes for patients suffering from pain and disability. He focuses on diagnosing complex medical conditions efficiently while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach. His clinical expertise encompasses a broad range of rheumatological conditions, with a particular research interest in musculoskeletal disorders. His contributions to research have been recognized with an award from the Australian Rheumatology Association and New Zealand Rheumatology Association. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mian enjoys watching cricket and football and spending time with his wife and two children. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
