Dr. Michal Amir is a highly skilled Gynaecologist Obstetrician with a specialisation in Endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Michal Amir strongly believes that every woman deserves to have a pain-free and fulfilling life and has made it her mission to help those struggling with chronic pain caused by gynaecological issues. Dr. Michal Amir has a wealth of knowledge and expertise acquired through years of practice and practical experience. She completed a two-year fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery and Endometriosis in Monash Medical Centre in addition to gaining extensive experience both in Australia and internationally. Dr. Michal Amir has consultant positions at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Sandringham Hospital and is actively involved in research, medical teaching and training. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and a member of the Australasian Society for Endoscopic Surgery (AGES), Dr. Michal Amir has the expertise and qualifications to provide an extensive range of services. Her areas of specialisation include pelvic pain and Endometriosis, advanced Laparoscopic surgery (laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometriosis, cysts), menstrual disorders, abnormal PAP’s, contraception including IUD insertion, gynae surgery, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
