Dr Matthew Voltz

Dr. Voltz is an accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the field. He completed his dental training in 1991 at the University of Queensland, and after working in general practice and as a demonstrator at the Dental school for three years, he embarked on the Queensland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training program. Dr. Voltz continued his journey of learning and achieving, obtaining a medical qualification in 1998 and rotating through medical and surgical appointments at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. He then worked as a Principal House Officer in General Surgery at Ipswich Hospital for a year. Dr. Voltz completed his formal specialty training to achieve Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Since then, he has held prestigious consultant appointments at Ipswich General Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr. Voltz's passion for mentoring and sharing his knowledge has led him to be involved in the training and exit examination of Specialist Trainees for the College. In 2004, Dr. Voltz worked with partners to develop Brisbane Dental Specialist Centre, where he devotes his time to a busy private practice. With his extensive knowledge, expertise, and commitment to quality patient care, Dr. Voltz has become an integral part of the community and the Australian healthcare system.
