Dr Mark Davoren

Dr Mark Davoren is a highly experienced Paediatrician based in Stafford Heights, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. With a primary practice in the suburb, Dr Davoren has been providing exceptional medical care to children in the local community and surrounding areas.

Dr Davoren completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the prestigious University of Cape Town in 1991. After completing his internship, he gained experience in general practice before moving to the United Kingdom in 1994 and later relocating to Australia in 1998. It was in Brisbane where he completed his paediatric training at the Mater and Royal Children's Hospitals.

In 2005, Dr Davoren obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, solidifying his expertise in the field. Additionally, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Chapter of Community Child Health in 2006.

Throughout his career, Dr Davoren has held various medical roles, including working as a General and Child Protection Paediatrician in the Redcliffe and Caboolture Health Service District. Currently, he practices at North West Hospital and is actively involved in private practice.

Dr Davoren's vast experience and knowledge in paediatrics are highly regarded, and he is known for his dedication to his patients. As part of his commitment to furthering the field, he serves on the Specialist Advisory Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. In this role, he oversees the advanced training of general paediatricians across Australia. Furthermore, he holds a senior lecturer position at the University of Queensland Medical School, specialising in paediatrics.

Dr Davoren's special interests lie in Neonatology, Asthma & Allergy, and Developmental Paediatrics. With a passion for providing comprehensive care to newborns, managing respiratory issues in children, and addressing developmental challenges, he consistently demonstrates his commitment to improving the health and well-being of his young patients.
