Dr Sharon Krause

Dr Sharon Krause is an experienced and skilled Paediatrician, with a special interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics. She is based in Woody Point, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Dr Krause obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Queensland in 2002. She also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, which she earned in 1997.

In 2012, Dr Krause achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, specialising in Paediatrics. She further pursued a Subspecialty of Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics, specifically in the Chapter of Community Child Health. Dr Krause also completed a Masters in Public Health in the same year.

Dr Sharon Krause has a particular focus on neurodevelopment, and she possesses specialist expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Asperger Disorder. She is skilled in administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) for ASD diagnosis. Dr Krause also specialises in attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cognitive challenges, intellectual impairment, global developmental delay, and general learning and attention difficulties.

In addition to her vast knowledge and experience, Dr Krause has a strong understanding of early childhood development and provides guidance in managing anxiety, sensory processing difficulties, parenting, and sleep issues.
