Mr John O'Donnell

Mr O'Donnell's specialty lies within orthopaedic surgery, particularly in the field of hip surgeries. His special interests include hip arthroscopy, labral repair and reconstruction, impingement surgery, instability, and repair of chondral defects, including Autologous Matrix Induced Chondrogenesis (AMIC). He also specialises in the Direct Anterior Approach Total Hip Replacement (DAA THR).

Aside from his clinical work, Mr O'Donnell has made significant contributions to the field of hip arthroscopy. He is the founder and past-president of the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy as well as the Australian Society for Hip Arthroscopy. He has also authored more than 50 publications, which are available on PUBMED.
