Dr Jibin Thomas

Dr. Jibin Thomas is a renowned specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, having completed his Basic physician training at Eastern Health and his specialist training at Western and Austin Health. He is a proud Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and has developed a keen interest in asthma and sleep-disordered breathing, while also seeing patients with various other respiratory disorders, including COPD, Bronchiectasis, lung nodules, etc. Currently, he works at the Department of Respiratory Medicine at the Northern Hospital, where he runs a severe asthma and allergy clinic. Dr. Thomas is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and Physician trainees at the Northern Health, contributing his expertise to the next generation of medical professionals. In addition to his excellent clinical work, Dr. Thomas has admitting rights at Warringal Private, Epping Private, and Northpark Private Hospitals where he provides peri-operative care. He is also a proud member of several professional societies, including the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, Australian Sleep Association, American Thoracic Society, and European Respiratory Society. When he's not at work, Jibin loves to play cricket and is a dedicated supporter of Geelong Football Club.
