Dr. Jalal Zamani is a highly skilled and experienced interventional cardiologist, with a primary practice located in St Albans, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Dr. Zamani has dedicated his career to the field of cardiology and is particularly interested in complex coronary intervention and structural heart disease.
Dr. Zamani obtained his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran in 1984. He then underwent specialty training in Cardiology at Shiraz University in Iran, where he completed his interventional training in Germany and Switzerland. In 1994, he led a team of doctors in performing the first angioplasty case at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.
For over twenty years, Dr. Zamani held the position of Associate Professor of Cardiology at Shiraz University, where he actively contributed to numerous cardiovascular interventions, including complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
In 2015, Dr. Zamani migrated to Australia and commenced a one-year cardiology interventional fellowship and a peer review year at the prestigious Alfred Hospital. As a result, he is now fully recognized by the Australian College of Physicians as a cardiologist in Australia.
Dr. Zamani is proud to be associated with HeartWest and currently practices at their Hoppers Crossing and St. Albans clinics. He welcomes and attends to a wide range of cardiology patients.
