Dr Farzan Bahin

Dr Farzan Bahin is a highly regarded Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who has been serving the Southern Highlands community since 2016. With extensive training from Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals, as well as a fellowship from Westmead Hospital Endoscopy Unit, Dr Bahin's expertise encompasses all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology. He has a particular interest in colorectal cancer screening and prevention, advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and ERCP.

As the Head of Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Blacktown Hospital, Dr Bahin is committed to delivering the highest quality consultation and comprehensive patient care possible. He is also a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney as well as Western Sydney University, where he is involved in teaching and research. He has completed his NHMRC sponsored PhD from the University of Sydney and has published extensively in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
