Dr Faris Al-Shammaa

Dr Faris Al-Shammaa is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Parkville, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. With a primary specialty in gynaecology, he is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to his patients. Dr Faris obtained his primary degree in Medicine and Surgery overseas and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).

Having gained valuable experience and expertise working in various parts of the world, Dr Faris moved to the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne in 2004 to complete his Obstetrics and Gynaecology training. His expertise extends to managing conditions such as abnormal pap smears and colposcopy, contraception, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, and performing vaginal, laparoscopic, and open gynaecologic surgeries.
