Dr David Carey

Dr David Carey is a highly qualified and experienced endocrinologist with a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of New South Wales in 1987. He then went on to complete his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1993.

With over 30 years of experience in the field, Dr Carey has developed a deep understanding of endocrinology and its various specialties. He holds a particular interest in insulin resistance, diabetes and its complications, thyroid disease, bone and calcium disorders, male and female hormonal problems, menopause, polycystic ovarian disease, pituitary disease, adrenal disease, and obesity.

Dr Carey is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field to ensure that his patients receive the most comprehensive and effective care possible. He regularly attends conferences and participates in continuing education programs to expand his knowledge and skills.

In addition to his medical expertise, Dr Carey is fluent in Spanish, which allows him to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients. He believes in providing personalized and compassionate care, taking the time to listen to each patient's concerns and developing individualized treatment plans.
