Dr Andrea Stimming

Dr. Andrea Stimming is a General Psychiatrist with additional qualifications in Addiction Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Tasmania. Following her medical training, Dr. Stimming became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2010 after completing advanced training in Queensland. She furthered her expertise by completing a fellowship in the Chapter of Addiction Medicine through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, being one of the pioneers to complete addiction training through the Damascus Health Service at Brisbane Private Hospital. Throughout her career, Dr. Stimming has gained extensive experience working as a staff psychiatrist in Hobart, Tasmania, and more recently as a consultant at the Gold Coast Mental Health Service.
