Dr Darren Paterson

Dr. Darren Paterson is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty as well as arthroscopic surgery. He currently holds the position of VMO Orthopaedic Surgeon at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals with the Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service. He also performs surgeries at Armidale Private Hospital.

Dr. Paterson obtained his undergraduate medical training at the prestigious University of Sydney and completed his specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery through the Australian Orthopaedic Association training program in Sydney. In 2005, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

With an international subspecialty experience, Dr. Paterson completed a fellowship in Primary and Revision Hip Arthroplasty Surgery at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter, Devon, UK. He also completed a Harvard Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
