Dr. Daniel Goldbloom is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgeries. He is based in Malvern, Melbourne and is associated with The Avenue Hospital. Dr. Goldbloom obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree from Monash University in 2000. He has furthered his education and expertise with a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, which he received in 2012.
Dr. Goldbloom's specific interests within foot and ankle surgery include acute lateral ligament injuries, fractures of the base of the 5th metatarsal, stress fractures, fractures of the anterior calcaneal process or tip of the fibula, and heel pain. Currently, Dr. Goldbloom serves as a public consultant at the Alfred Hospital where he is involved in complex trauma cases and passionate about teaching. He is an active member of prestigious organizations such as the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the Australian Medical Association, the Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
