Associate Professor Chris Barnes is a reputable physician with extensive experience in paediatric haematology and oncology. He holds a medical degree from Monash University and has undergone further clinical and laboratory haematology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Chris has also completed a clinical fellowship in haemostasis and thrombosis at the Hospital for Sick Children and St Michaels Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
With a keen interest in diagnosing and managing non-malignant haematological conditions, including thrombosis and bleeding disorders, Chris is the National Director of Haematology at Australian Clinical Labs. He also serves as the Director of the Haemophilia Treatment Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Chris is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is able to receive appointments via fax and email. As a result of his extensive training and experience, he has become a highly respected figure in the field of paediatric haematology and oncology, and continues to make meaningful contributions to advancements in the medical field.
