Recognized globally for its excellence and innovation in eye care, this institution provided Dr McLintock with comprehensive training in cataract surgery, corneal surgery (including various corneal transplants), and refractive surgery.

Currently, Dr McLintock serves as an Eye Surgeon at Southside Eye Clinic in Mount Gravatt, My Eye Specialist in Robina, and Mary River Eye Specialists in Hervey Bay. Additionally, he serves as a Corneal Surgeon at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

Apart from his clinical commitments, Dr McLintock actively engages in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors. As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, he plays a pivotal role in shaping future Eye Surgeons in Queensland through his contributions at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in international Ophthalmology Journals, particularly focusing on topics such as cataract surgery, keratoconus and other corneal diseases, and limbal stem cell transplantation.
