Dr Bruno Jesuthasan

Dr Bruno Jesuthasan is a skilled Cardiologist based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He is currently associated with Greenslopes Private Hospital. Dr Jesuthasan obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, where he graduated with Honours in 1998 on a scholarship awarded by the Australian Government.

Dr Jesuthasan completed his basic physician training at the prestigious Alfred Hospital in Melbourne before pursuing advanced cardiology training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide. In recognition of his remarkable skills and knowledge, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2006.

With a keen interest in cardiac imaging, Dr Jesuthasan has specialised training in various diagnostic procedures such as cardiac MRI, echocardiography (including Stress Echocardiography and Transoesophageal Echocardiography), coronary angiography, and permanent pacemaker implantation. His expertise in these areas greatly enhances the services provided by the Queensland Cardiovascular Group.

Aside from his clinical work, Dr Jesuthasan is currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on microvascular dysfunction in the coronary vasculature. He employs advanced techniques such as MRI and echocardiography to further his research in this field. His dedication to research has been acknowledged through the receipt of a National Health and Medical Research Council scholarship.
