Dr. Gus Mugwagwa is a highly qualified and experienced Cardiologist based in Cleveland, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. With an impressive list of qualifications, including MBChB, FRACP, and FCSANZ, Dr. Mugwagwa is recognized as a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees, further strengthening his medical expertise.
Currently serving as a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging Specialist at Redland Hospital, Dr. Mugwagwa holds the esteemed position of Clinical Lead for Echocardiography. Dr. Mugwagwa completed his basic physician training and cardiology advanced training at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia. His dedication and hard work led to the prestigious award of FRACP as a cardiologist in 2018. Following this, he undertook a rigorous one-year advanced echocardiography fellowship at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. In 2020, he made the move to Queensland to assume his current roles and contribute to the healthcare community in the region.

His approach is characterized by an integration of multi-modality cardiac imaging, combining echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI, to enhance clinical care.
