Dr Vincent Deen is a highly skilled and experienced Cardiologist based in Greenslopes, Brisbane. He obtained his MBBS degree and subsequently completed his Cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital. Dr Deen's passion for advancing his subspecialty led him to pursue an additional year of training in Electrophysiology and Pacing in 1997, and a further year of training under the guidance of Professor Jonathan Kalman at The Royal Melbourne in 1998. With over two decades of experience, Dr Deen has established himself as an esteemed Visiting Cardiologist at prestigious hospitals including Greenslopes Private, Wesley Private, and The Prince Charles Hospitals. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to honing his skills, particularly in the areas of Electrophysiology and Pacing. Dr Deen's special interests lie in Cardiac Electrophysiologic Studies, Radiofrequency Ablation Procedures, Device Implantation, and Coronary Angiography. He is renowned as the leading practitioner of His-Bundle Pacing in Australia, having successfully implanted over 180 devices. His expertise in this technique surpasses that of any other practitioner in the country, and he also serves as a proctor for training other physicians in this procedure. By utilizing His-Bundle Pacing, Dr Deen provides patients with the most physiologic form of pacing, ensuring the preservation of left ventricular function. Notably, he is currently the only Cardiologist in Brisbane regularly conducting this procedure. Additionally, Dr Deen has extensive experience in Cryoablation for Atrial Fibrillation, having performed over 180 successful cases. He remains committed to delivering pioneering and innovative heart care services to his patients.
