Mr Bradley Newell

Brad Newell is an accomplished Urologist based in Melbourne, with a passion for continuously improving his field. Graduating from the University of Melbourne with a degree in medicine, he went on to complete advanced urology specialty training in 2016. During this time, Brad researched biomarkers in prostate metastases at length, gaining a wealth of experience in the field of prostate cancer.

In addition to his surgical practice, Brad is a committed educator and has represented Urology on the Surgical Sciences and Clinical Examination Committee through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He also serves as the Supervisor of Education and Training at Austin Health, where he holds a public consultant appointment. He works at Eastern Health's Box Hill, Maroondah, Angliss and Yarra Ranges Hospitals, bringing his expertise in urological cancers and general urology to these institutions.

Brad is particularly interested in the treatment and prevention of Urinary Stone Disease and Benign Prostatic Enlargement, including Greenlight laser vaporization. He approaches patient care with empathy, taking the time to educate and listen to his patients, ensuring that they understand all aspects of their condition and available treatment options. Brad is committed to ensuring that his patients are empowered to make informed decisions about their care, and that their overall quality of life is improved.
