Dr Blagoje Kuljic

Dr Kuljic holds several qualifications, including an MD, MSc, PhD, and FRANZCP. Throughout his career, he has developed a special interest in the treatment of schizophrenia. He has also treated a wide range of problem areas, such as anxiety disorders (panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, performance anxiety, and phobias), obsessive-compulsive disorders, mood disorders (depression and bipolar affective disorder), personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss issues, and related disorders.

During his research, Dr Kuljic focused on stress and trauma, which led to the completion of his Master's and Ph.D. degrees. He has presented his research findings at various international, European, and regional conferences. Additionally, he is the author of articles published in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to books. One notable achievement is his book titled 'Kuljic B. Acute Stress Disorder after Psycho-Physical Trauma.'

With over 20 years of experience, Dr Kuljic provides comprehensive psychiatric care, including pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. He is also accredited as a 'permanent impairment assessor' and has expertise in various areas, including anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, cognitive-behavioral therapy, conversion disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychosis, schizophrenia, sexual disorders, and supportive psychotherapy.

Dr Kuljic offers a range of services, including civil medicolegal consultations, insurance opinions and reports, opinion and report services, weekly psychotherapy, and is also a registered Workcover provider. He has extensive experience working with military personnel and veterans.
