Dr Thomas Luong

Dr Luong is fluent in Vietnamese, in addition to English. He has a keen interest in schizophrenia, focusing on providing comprehensive care to patients within the 18-60, 60+, and 16-24 age groups.

Throughout his career, Dr Luong has gained expertise in several areas including anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, dementia-related disorders, depression, eating disorders, mindfulness, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, problem gambling, and schizophrenia. He is experienced in working with diverse patient groups such as asylum seekers and refugees, doctors, psychiatrists or medical students, individuals of gender diverse backgrounds, gay and lesbian individuals, non-English speaking individuals, and those with physical disabilities.

Dr Luong offers a range of services including civil medicolegal assistance, opinion and report provision (MBS item 291), and is a registered Workcover provider.
