Dr Beshoy Farah

Dr Beshoy Farah is a highly qualified and experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist based in Barrack Heights, Kiama, New South Wales, Australia. He is affiliated with Campbelltown Private Hospital and Nowra Private Hospital.

Dr Farah completed his Bachelor of Medicine degree from Cairo University in 2003 and obtained a Master's degree in General Medicine in 2009. He has received extensive training in advanced gastroenterology, hepatology, and liver transplant at a renowned centre overseas.

As a staff Specialist Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at the Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital and a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at St. George Hospital in Sydney, Dr Farah is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to his patients. He also offers consultations at Nowra Private Hospital.

Dr Farah's clinical interests lie in the field of gastroenterology, particularly in the area of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis. He is highly skilled in performing endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy to diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions. His expertise also extends to the management of viral hepatitis (hepatitis B & C) and cirrhosis, as well as bowel cancer screening.

As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), Dr Farah stays updated with the latest advancements in his field. He actively participates in cancer screening programs to promote early detection and offers fast-track access options for eligible private or self-funding patients.
