With over 18 years of experience, Babak has treated patients with exotic tropical infections like multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, brucellosis, cutaneous leishmaniosis, and other parasitic infections.
After earning a degree in General Internal Medicine in 2002, Babak continued his career in infectious diseases by becoming a registered specialist with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2007.
