Dr Alastair Taylor

Dr Alastair Taylor is a highly experienced plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery. He received his MBBS degree from the University of New South Wales in 1987 and completed his specialist plastic surgery training at major teaching hospitals in Sydney. In 1998, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).

Dr Taylor is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), and Corresponding Member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). At the forefront of all his work is ensuring the comfort, privacy, and safety of his patients.

He founded The Canberra Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Clinic (CAPS) in 1998, which has since become one of the most comprehensive and established plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive clinics in the country. The clinic includes Sole’vita Surgery, a fully accredited private hospital, 360uv Skin Cancer Clinic, the most comprehensive skin cancer unit in Canberra, and My Genesis Clinic, which offers non-surgical skin and body rejuvenation. Dr Taylor is also the Director of Surgery at Sole’vita Private Hospital and has visiting rights to the National Capital Private Hospital.
