Dr Adam Gay

Dr Adam Gay is a distinguished cardiologist with a comprehensive academic background. Graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2000 with a position on the Dean’s Honour List for academic excellence, Dr Gay then returned to Victoria where he completed his physician training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Subsequently, he finished his cardiology training at Monash Heart in 2006.

Dr Gay has continued to pursue research, and in 2008 he completed a dedicated fellowship in echocardiography at Royal Melbourne Hospital, in addition to a year of research at Austin Hospital investigating endothelial dysfunction and novel markers of cardiac disease, which earned him an Australian Postgraduate Award.

Dr Gay has held various positions, including Deputy Director of Cardiology at Western Health, where he currently holds a public appointment. In addition, he runs private rooms in Niddrie and Flemington, offering his patients the opportunity to receive tertiary hospital-level expertise in the convenience of a private practice setting. In 2014, Dr Gay founded One Heart Cardiology, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care and increasing accessibility.
